Romans 5:17
God created man and woman in
His own image to reign, rule, dominate and flourish on earth, (Genesis
1:26-28). He placed them in a beautiful garden and provided them with all they
required for living and made them ruler over all that God created.
When man sinned in the garden
of Eden through disobedience to the instruction given them by God, they lost
all the privileges given to them and forfeited the beautiful abode and position
that God gave them.
However, God in His infinite
mercy and grace provided a safe landing for us and sent His only son to redeem
and reconcile us back to Himself. Through Adam’s disobedience, sin was imputed
into everyone but Christ came and brought us righteousness with a maximum gain
of eternity with Him and restored back to us, all that we lost in the garden.
We now have dominion through
Christ Jesus. Jesus said in Luke 10:19; “behold, I give you the authority to
trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and
nothing shall by any means hurt you”.
We need to remain in Christ
Jesus to continue to reign on earth and hereafter with Him. We are born to
reign.
1. Thank You, O Lord, for making me a living soul and for creating me in Your own image to reign, rule, dominate and flourish on earth, in Jesus' name (Genesis 1:26-28).
2. Our Lord, thank You for
the gift of eternal life, and for the privilege of reigning in life through the
righteousness of our saviour Jesus Christ, in Jesus’ name (Romans 5:17).
3. O God, in whatever way I
have strayed away through sin from Your original plan for my life, forgive me
and have mercy upon me, in Jesus’ name (Ephesians 1:7).
4. O Lord, let every power
contending against Your power in my life be destroyed today, in Jesus’ name
(Luke 10:19).
5. O Lord, remove every
obstacle in my way to greatness, let my path be clear so that I can attain the
height You have destined for me, in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 26:7).
6. O Lord, do not let the
purpose for which You have created me be defeated either by my carelessness or
by the forces of darkness militating against my progress, in Jesus’ name
(Ephesians 6:12).
7. O Lord my God, let the
power to mount up with wings as eagles fall upon me, in Jesus’ name (Isaiah
40:31).
8. My Lord and my God teach
me and use me as a vessel how to effortlessly overthrow Satan’s dominion and
kingdom and to establish Your dominion on earth, in Jesus’ name (Genesis 1:28).
9. O Lord, let my life
reflect Your glory; let Your glory shine in me for the world to see your
greatness in me, in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 43:7).
10. O Lord, do not let me
fail You; let Your fear be instilled in my heart so that I will not go against
Your will and precepts, in Jesus’ name (Luke 1:50).
11. Father Lord, deliver me
from every act of the flesh dominating my life and let the fruit of the Spirit begin
to manifest in my life, in Jesus’ name (Galatian 5:22-23)
12. O Lord, according to Your
word that I will be the head and not the tail; above and not beneath, fulfil
these promises in my life, in Jesus’ name (Deuteronomy 28:13)
13. Our Lord and our God, let
Your kingdom come in our church and district and destroy every power that is
contending against our progress and growth, in Jesus’ name (Matthew 24:14).
14. O Lord, let Your
righteousness reign over the nations of the earth, in Jesus’ name (Psalm 67:4).
15. Father Lord, thank You
for the grace and authority that we have received today, to reign, to dominate
and to triumph in Your name, in Jesus’ name (2 Corinthians 2:14).
