Created to Operate With Renewed Mind

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable...

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2

“To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?” 2 Corinthians 2:16

The mind is the essential tool in bringing the reality of God's Kingdom to the problems and crisis we face as Christians.

Every thought and act in your life speak of allegiance to God or to satan. Both are empowered by your agreement, which is "your mind"

When faced with negative circumstances, what is your first thought? Is it "I can't make it"? Scripture says to fix your eyes on Jesus in 2 Corinthians 4:18 and look at the eternal not the temporary things.

If you fail to put Christ above your circumstances, then there could be something missing in your character that prohibits you from resting in Christ Jesus and believing that He will lead you victoriously. It could be your faith isn't yet strong enough.

Align your thoughts with what God says about you and not what your situations says.

Whose report will you now set your mind upon?

CHRIST'S all powerful or man.

Renew your mind and be a new creation.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV.

Your strength is renewed, your hope in Christ is renewed, your faith too should be renewed.

A renewed mind in Christ may still experience challenges, but the challenges will be solely to build your character and enforce your faith in Christ, so even if you're "going through hell", "you don't stop", you go straight through and exit into victory and glory.

Your focus should always be on Christ the author and finisher of our faith

Hebrews 12:2 NKJV.

Remember the saying "the mind is a terrible thing to waste" that's an upright and positive mind.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Heavenly Father, You created all things in heaven and on earth, I thank You for making me in Your image and calling me Your own in Jesus’ name (Ephesians 2:10).

2. Father Lord, I thank You for making me a new creation, for old things have passed away. Failure, fear, shame and reproach have passed away, behold, all things have become new for me in Jesus’ name (2 Corinthians 5:17).

3. Father Lord, I thank You for sending Your Son who is sinless to become sin, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him in Jesus’ name (2 Corinthians 5: 21).

4. Father Lord, help me to do Your will, for You are my God. Lead me in the path of righteousness in the mighty name of Jesus (Psalms 143:10).

5. Father Lord, create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me in Jesus’ name (Psalms 51:10).

6. Father Lord, teach me not to think too highly of myself than I ought to think, but to think soberly, and be humble in Jesus’ name (Romans 12:3).

7. Father Lord, help me to love without hypocrisy, to abhor what is evil and cling  to what is good in Jesus’ mighty name (Romans 12:9).

8. Heavenly Father, teach me to be kindly affectionate to others with brotherly love, in honour giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, and in serving the Lord in Jesus’ name (Romans 12:10).

9. Father Lord, let my gift from You reveal my uniqueness to society, that the Holy Spirit may manifest through me for Your glory in Jesus’ name (Proverbs 18:16).

10. Heavenly Lord, let me be Your beacon of hope, progress and joy for the world to see. Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live; and do not let me be ashamed of my hope in You in Jesus’ mighty name (Psalm 119:116).

11. O Lord, let Your glory shine through me, by Your grace I will arise and shine; for my light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon me in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 60:1).

12. Father Lord, let me walk according to the guidance of Your Holy Spirit, that it may be well with me and I may do that which You have created me to do in Jesus’ name (Acts 13:4).

13. Heavenly Father, I thank You for answering all my prayers, in You my hope is certain in Jesus’ name. Amen.1
