This is day which the Lord hath made.  Ps. 118:24.

1 mf Come, let us join our cheerful songs

With angels round the throne;

This is the day that Jesus found

And ordained as His own.

2 f This day the God of heaven bless’d,

Our of the seven days;

A type of rest unto the bless’d,

A type of heav’nly days.

3 So, let us sing unto His name

And hope on for the day;

When Jesus shall come in His fame,

And end all earth’s vain way.

4 Ever more till His grace He brings

We shall to Jesus sing

Let’s keep rejoicing in the Lord,

For ever in His word.
