7.2 Explain how feedback and questioning contribute to the assessment process

Feedback helps learners develop themselves and get better. Assessor looks at the work or evidence produced by a learner and reviews it according to agreed criteria, and then inform the learner on how they are progressing and whether they need to do anything to improve and move forward.
Questioning makes assessment transparent and is an opportunity for learners to ask questions when they do not understand and when they want to find out more about their assessment. By allowing learners to ask questions, it gets them more involved in their assessment and helping them to trust the assessor and have a better understanding of the assessment process.
