Building: To
develop gradually by increments. Endurance, Strength, Esteem, Reputation
Kingdom Culture: Biblical culture with the influence of fivefold ministry
flowing into and out of it.
Fivefold ministry - Ephesians 411
11 And His
gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and
expounders), some evangelists (preachers
of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers. 12 His intention was the perfecting {and} the
full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do]
the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church),

the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God's
power." (NLT) "For the

people {draw near Me with their mouths and} honor Me with their lips, but their

13 And
the Lord said, For as much as this people draw near Me with their mouth and
honor Me with their lips but remove their hearts {and} minds far from Me, and
their fear {and} reverence for Me are a commandment of men that is learned by
repetition [without any thought as to the meaning],
Ephesians 320
20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of
His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do
superabundantly, far over {and} above all that we [dare] ask or think
[infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—

3 For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate {and} think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by God to him.

and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.

success. – Josh 1:8
2. Love for One Another
v "Owe no one anything,

for the one who loves another has

not the truth. - 1 John 1:6
v Render
therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom
custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. - Romans 13:7
c.
Accepting
v As
for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over
opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats
only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let
not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has
welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is
before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the
Lord is able to make him stand - Romans 14:1-4
v May
the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with
one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice
glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore welcome one
another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God - Romans 15:5-7
v How
can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in
your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You
hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see
clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye - Luke 6:42
v Likewise,
husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the
woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life,
so that your prayers may not be hindered. - 1 Peter 3:7
3. Desire to Grow
a. Faith
v For
we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7
v For
everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory
that has overcome the world—our faith. - 1 John 5:4
v Like
newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up
into salvation—1 Peter 2:2
v And
without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to
God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. - Hebrews 11:6
b.
Holiness
v But
you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s
own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called
you out of darkness into His marvelous light; - 1 Peter 2:9
v Strive
for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the
Lord. - Hebrews 12:14
v Since
we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement
of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God - 2 Corinthians 7:1
v But
as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is
written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” - 1 Peter 1:15-16
c.
Fruitfulness
v “I
am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that
does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he
prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word
that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear
fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you
abide in me. I am the vine; you are the
branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit,
for apart from me you can do nothing. - John 15:1-27
v
For this very reason, make every
effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and
knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and
steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and
brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are
increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For whoever lacks
these qualities is so

nearsighted that he is blind,
having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins - 2 Peter 1:5-9
4. A willingness to serve
a. Sacrificially:
v 4Let each of you look out not only for his own
interests, but also for the interests of others. - Phil – 2:4
v I
beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:1
b. Lovingly
v 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served,
but to serve, and to give
His life a ransom for many.” - Mark 10:45
v 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit,
serving the Lord; - Rom 12:11
c.
Humility
v 35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like
this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus,
that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” - Act 20:35
v 16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and
glorify your Father in heaven. - Matt 5:16
v 10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and
labor of love which you have shown
toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
- Hebrew 6:10
5. Readiness to go
a. Proclaiming the gospel in word and deed.
v 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they
have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not
heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15
And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: - Rom 10: 14-15
v
18
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given
to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go
therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have
commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
- Matthew 28:18-28
