The Speaker of Ekiti state APC dominated house of assembly announced the closure of the chamber for 1 month recess. What is the speaker afraid of; closing the assembly on the dawn of a new administration which is another stupid ploy by the ousted APC to make take-off difficult for the new administration.
Ok, since the APC law makers have started decamping to PDP, the speaker would not retain his seat whenever the house resumes for plenary session.
When Fayemi left for his home on Wednesday, there were less than 100 people to see him off or receive him in his village which tells so much of how irrelevant his government were to the people of the state; he was fused with pride and neglected the down trodden, he had 3 months to correct his mistakes but instead destroyed his remaining credibility before he left; refused to pay workers for almost 3 months while paying contractors for uncompleted jobs or shoddy jobs.
The state now has a debt of about 57billion naira and nothing left in the confers of government, he should be questioned and made to account for all his expenditures most especially for the last 3 months of his administration.
