Memorise: Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Proverbs 6:27
Read: Proverbs 6:25-29
There is nothing that cheapens a man like sin; there is nothing that destroys the destiny of a man, family, community or nation like sin. For example so many great men in the church, political and sports world have been made objects of ridicule by sex. I pray you will never fall into that trap in Jesus name. Proverbs 14:34 says sin comes with reproach. If you observe a decline in favour, fortunes and blessings or see that you are becoming an item of merchandise or manipulation in the hands of your enemies, check out your spiritual state: You have probably gone ‘down’ to Egypt.

For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. Proverbs 6:26
Bread is an item of merchandise and also an item for consumption. The truth is, if you are a fornicator, you are not only an item for sale but also food for the teeth of your enemies. Fornication sells you into the hands of your enemies. If you doubt it ask Samson. His sexual sins helped to reveal the secret of his life and sell him into the hands of his enemies. Fornication sells your destiny. Do you say, since I am a pastor, I can continue to fornicate or commit adultery once in a while and nothing will affect my destiny? Oh how wrong! You have already lost your destiny! You are just awaiting replacement. All of God’s grace operating in your life will soon cease completely. Repent today, run to the Cross and make your ways right. And immediately embark on prayer and fasting, asking for a restoration of your destiny.

KEY POINT:
For God to prosper you, you must be in right standing in your relationship with Him.

Bible in one year: Ecclesiastes 10-12
