To appropriate the optimum that The El-Shaddai makes available for His children (especially freedom), you need to control what goes into your mind. As long as you keep reading the wrong books, watching the wrong films, television programmes and listening to the wrong music, you will continue to descend into error, falsehood and satanic bondage. This is why you must be very selective of what you read, watch or hear. If you keep watching x-rated movies or visiting pornographic sites on the internet or reading novels that inflame lust and pornographic magazines, the demons controlling them will fill your mind and you will crave for more. A time will come when the character of such a fellow will become totally eroded. Burn those porn materials! Set up filters against offensive materials in your browser. Destroy those occult books such as “The Six and Seven Books of Moses” and other magical books or books on astral travel and mind development. If you don’t, they will take you into bondage.
The Word of God is the Word of truth, every encounter with the Word releases a measure of truth to you. Because the level of bondage varies in the lives of the captive, the dose of truth needed to bring total liberation varies. If you can expose yourself to more and more of the Word and allowed the light of God’s Word to shine on you, captivity will give way and you will be free. God desires your absolute freedom (John 8:36). Yet, beyond this Jesus wants to empower you to set other captives free (Mark 16:17). What level of freedom are you experiencing? Everything that has taken you captive shall release you now in Jesus name. Your deliverance shall be permanent and you shall become a means of liberating others in Jesus name.
