Memorise: And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. Luke 19:3
Read: Revelation 4:1-4
In Isaiah 6:1-5, Isaiah saw God’s glory and his life was never the same. Another person who encountered God’s glory was John the Beloved. Of the twelve, he was the closest to the Lord. While on the island of Patmos as a prisoner for his faith in Christ, he was separated from society and his companions were trees and wild animals. Yet, for him to access a level of glory beyond what he saw of the Lord on the Mountain of Transfiguration, he was asked to come up higher. Why? It is because your location will determine the level of God’s glory you encounter. As long as you remain in the valley, you will be limited in the level of God’s glory you experience. Anyone in the valley of sin, stagnancy, doubt, fear, or disobedience should not expect to see God’s glory as these will block the view. Are you experiencing a level of God’s glory today? Praise God! To move up to a higher level, you must change your location.

As long as you are rising and falling without making a commitment to be steadfast in Christ, there is little or no glory for you to see. There are some brethren who wish they could experience the type of glory that was common to them after their conversion, a level below which they now operate. Yes, it is possible. But even beyond that level, God wants to give you something more. Hear the Lord saying, ‘Move up’. Move up in your faith in Christ. Increase your love for Him. Move up in consecration. Move up in selfless service. Triple your prayer life. Spend more time with the Word – hearing, reading, studying, meditating and memorizing the Bible. Let your priorities be recorded with more focus on heavenly things than earthly ones. Stop looking to men: look up to Him. In Luke 19:1-10, Zacchaeus sought to see Jesus: the Lord saw his heart and became his guest. What are you seeking? This season as you seek Him, you will experience the glory of God beyond what you ever knew before.

PRAYER POINT:
The glory of God is inaccessible to the spiritually stagnant. Ask God to take away every hindrance stopping the Body of Christ from accessing a greater level of God’s glory.

Bible in one year: Ecclesiastes 4-6
