Reflection on Job 35 to Psalms 24

The transition from Job 35 to Psalms 24 offers a rich meditation on God’s sovereignty, justice, and the human response to His majesty. In Job 35–42, Elihu and God Himself address Job’s complaints, shifting the focus from human suffering to divine wisdom and power. Elihu emphasizes God’s greatness and impartiality, while God’s speeches out of the whirlwind (Job 38–41) reveal the vastness of His creation, underscoring humanity's limited understanding. Job’s humble response (Job 42:1–6) models repentance and trust, reminding us to yield to God’s unfathomable plans.

The Psalms begin with a profound sense of reverence and worship, echoing themes from Job.
