In the case of Nigeria, public officials' remunerations should be reduced to 40% of what they are at the moment.
In as much as we do not expect government to increase taxes, we should begin to think of this subsidy removal maybe 40% of it should go now but we cannot afford all of it to be removed at the moment because there are no measures on ground to cushion the effects of the complete removal.
GEJ is not Nigeria's problem but the systems that define the operation of government since independence which have failed us woefully. If we want to fight, let's fight a just fight. If you fight and win the wrong battle, you would have ended up achieving nothing and would come back face to face with the real war starring at you in the face.
I have fought past governments in Nigeria since I was 12 and most of the people on the street fighting today used to label us as evil when we participate in aluta but unfortunately, the evils that we would have collectively fought then are now hunting them today and they are now on the street fighting with grey hairs when it's almost too late.
For those who are Christians, the bible talked about all of these; at the end time..................if we find solutions to all of the problems facing the world today, then we are lucky.
